Don M. Skelton D.D.S.
Biography
Words that describe Dr. Skelton are integrity, compassion, experience and excellence. Since he established his practice in Texomaland over thirty years ago, he has striven to bring these qualities to the practice of dentistry and to maintain the highest professional standards. He continually emphasizes a patient-oriented atmosphere in his office. His staff is trained to be kind, caring and responsive to the needs of each patient.
Dr. Skelton is a native Texan. He is a graduate of Baylor University School of Dentistry where he enjoyed membership in several professional dental fraternities. Following his graduation from dental school, he served as a Captain in the United States Air Force, stationed at Lowry Air Force Base in Denver, Colorado. There he continued his training with valuable rotations through every department of dental specialty.
Upon his completion of military duty, he and his wife chose to move to Denison, Texas, to establish his practice. He has now lived and practiced here for over 32 years and he and his family have become an integral part of the community.
Dr. Skelton has been married to his college sweetheart, Kay, for over forty years. They have two sons who are graduates of Baylor School of Law and are practicing attorneys. During their childhood, Dr. Skelton was actively involved in their activities, serving as a Little League coach, Webolos leader and as a member of the board of the Boy's Club. He now delights in two granddaughters, Lauren and Allison, and holds "camp" for them each summer.
He has continued his involvement in church and community throughout the years. He has served for many years as both a deacon and Elder in his church and has taught in the adult Sunday school program. He is past president of the Denison Rotary Club and was awarded the coveted Paul Harris Award for service to the club and community. He sits on the GTUA board as an appointee of the city council. He has also participated in volunteer activities such as HOST, reading each week with students who need additional attention.
He maintains membership in the American Dental Association as well as the Texas Dental Association and is Past President of the fourth district of TDA, during which time he represented dentists from the North Texas area at the state level. He is a graduate of the renowned Pankey Institute and he and his staff have successfully completed the rigorous Pinnacle training.
Dr. Skelton especially enjoys outdoor recreational activities. He loves spending time at his cabin with his beloved Labrador and enjoys visits to the West Texas bird lease with his sons.
He loves to travel with his wife and counts as a highlight in his life his trip to St. Petersburg, Russia when he was a representative to the Rotary International Conference.
His life and activities continue to demonstrate a strong commitment to his church, his family, his practice and his community.

Kim Hickey D.D.S.
Biography
Dr. Kim Hickey is a 1977 graduate of Baylor University with a B.S. degree and received her D.D.S. degree from the University of Texas Dental School in 1980.
Following her graduation from dental school, she established a private practice in Duncanville, Texas. Dr. Hickey maintained her practice from 1980-2000 establishing high standards of excellence in dentistry. Upon her relocation to the Texoma area, she was invited to join Dr. Skelton's practice as a full time associate. Her association began in 2000 and she is presently in her fifth year in this office. Dr. Hickey meets the standards of integrity, compassion, experience and excellence identified as the benchmarks of this dental practice.
Dr. Hickey has been married to George Morgan, Jr. for fifteen years. Together they enjoy outdoor activities and are particularly avid water sportsman. Dr. Hickey enjoys scuba diving in the Caribbean and boating on Lake Texoma.
Dr. Hickey is available for teaching opportunities with students interested in learning about the dental profession and enjoys the challenge of furthering dental education and good dental health in children.

Melinda Parker D.D.S.
Biography
Dr. Melinda Parker graduated from Louisiana Tech University in 1985 with a B.S. degree and completed her D.D.S. degree at Baylor Univesity College of Dentistry in 1989. While in dental school, she was active in her dental fraternity and was tapped for the dental honor society.
Following her graduation from dental school, she practiced in Dallas from 1989-1993. She also taught at the Baylor School of Dentistry from 1993 to 1998 in the department of Fixed Prosthodontics.
Upon moving to Denison, she joined Dr. Skelton's practice in 1994. Dr. Parker is a valuable member of the dental team and brings the same high standards of excellence, experience, integrity and compassion that are reflected throughout the practice.
Dr. Melinda Parker has been married to Dr. Tim Parker for fifteen years and is the mother of two daughters and one son who are very good athletes. She and her husband spend all of their "spare" time at the softball fields, baseball field, soccer field, or the volleyball court or basketball court depending on the season!
She is also very active in their church as a Sunday School teacher. She is a past board member of the Denison Girls' Club, a past board member of the Grayson County Board of Health, current member of the Denison Education Foundation and active in elementary and middle school PTO's.
She is a member of the American Dental Association and the Texas Dental Association.
